Phuket Day 1

we are a day away from the new year.
ive decided to emerge from my sloth state,
skip my cousin's wedding,
and ambrose's birthday,
and bodyworks,
and jingting's birthday,
and a whole lot of other stuff....
to blog about phuket.
like,
finally.

but because im so lazy to go download all the other photos from the guys,
im just going to post selective pictures.
(which are already quite alot.)

so,
here comes Day 1.
-
started the morning on the wrong side of the bed.
was ultra grumpy.
and poor ty had to bear the brunt of my grumpiness since he was the first to arrive.
heh.
shared a cab with jo jasp and ty to the airport.
we were going to PHUKET!
waited around for evan steve and justin.
and i think that was when i decided to take out my cam for some camwhoring before evan arrives.
*jeng jeng jeng jeng*
the moment i switched it on, i saw unfamiliar pictures on my cam.
arent those that were supposed to be in my cam's internal memory?!
does this mean...
yes. i did it again.
instead of my battery, i forgot to remove the memory card from my laptop the previous night after uploading some pictures.
felt very dejected thereafter about having no memory cards to take pictures with ):
(steve had a spare, so he very nicely lent it to me. BUT, muahahaha, it was a blessing in disguise, because for the very first time in all the trips i've been on, i didnt have to take pictures!!! i could see and feel with my eyes and soul!! and i had even better pictures!!)
if you've been trawling through my facebook,
you'd have been flooded by pictures after pictures of phuket by the 3(4) very wonderful photographers we had with us on the trip. such huge professional cams! i also paiseh to take mine out.
right,
enough of my stupidity.

i bumped into karen who was going to Bangkok that very day too.
*waves.
the queue for checking in was sooooooo long and slow.
we ended up rushing for time.
rushed for lunch, and took super quick and huge steps + ran all the way to the gate.
our gate was at the very end of the airport, so you can imagine how exhausted we were by the time we settled down in the plane.

ok so um...

approx 2 hours later,

we were in Phuket!

:/

we had chauffeur!

settled down at our little hotel.

clean and cosy. not too bad.

but i still miss Sacha @ BKK alot.

went off to look for tour agencies to help us book our tours for the next 3 days.

found another nice little hotel a few doors away from ours called My Friend House.

met a nice lady there named Rose who helped us booked all 3 of our tours!

Day 2 - Snorkling at 3 Islands.

Day 3 - Elephant Trekking, ATV, White Water Rafting

Day 4 - Random personal tour around Phuket.

jo and i put our amazing bargaining skills to good use over there.

saved alot!

went off to look for food after that.

settled at cosy Elephant Cafe.

PAD THAI! :D

so i guess i'll just stop here for Day1.
